Trademarks Office now accepting trademark applications – but caution is still advised
Since the overthrow of the Somali government in 1991, it had not been possible to obtain registered trademark protection in the country. It now appears that the Trademarks Office is accepting applications, but there is no publication procedure or opposition period in place.
