The Beijing IP Court has issued its decision in a cancellation action concerning the Chinese mark 家家 JIA JIA on the grounds of non-use. In addition to overruling the decision of the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board, the court for the first time sanctioned the mark’s owners for submitting falsified evidence in an attempt to deceive the court.
