Threat to exports escalates Apple trademark dispute

The dispute between Apple and Proview over ownership of the iPad trademark in China has taken a new turn, with Proview applying to Chinese customs to prevent the export of Apple’s tablet computer, which is manufactured in the country by Foxconn. The move comes with the expected launch of iPad 3 just weeks away.
