Rolex successfully opposes registration of MARINER for watches based on its SUBMARINER mark

Swiss watchmaker Rolex SA, which owns the mark SUBMARINER in Class 14, has prevailed in opposition proceedings against the registration of the mark MARINER by FMTM Distribution Ltd, a company selling luxury watches.
