Registration of THE ART OF RAW upheld

The EU General Court has rejected an appeal by The Art Company with respect to its opposition of the word mark THE ART OF RAW. The rejection follows the EU Intellectual Property Office’s decision that identity of goods and services cannot offset the fundamental differences in marks that prevent a likelihood of confusion.
