Recognising law firm excellence: inaugural Global IP Awards winners revealed
The winners of the inaugural Global IP Awards, which recognise law and attorney firm excellence in the fields of trademark and patent work, were announced at a gala dinner in London last night. The list of winners serves as a reminder of the outstanding depth of IP legal expertise available to corporate IP teams the world over.
The Global IP Awards recognise the outstanding achievements of IP law and attorney firms in litigation, prosecution and transactional work during 2018. With 16 full-time journalists and dedicated researchers based in Europe, the US and Asia, WTR and IAM are uniquely placed to provide in-depth reporting and analysis of developments in all the world’s major IP markets. Based on our collective knowledge and insight, and drawing on a number of strategic data points, we have identified the firms, that deserve recognition for their achievements across the past 12 months.
The winners were celebrated last night at an exclusive dinner at the Plaisterers’ Hall in London, with leading law and attorney firm professionals from more than 50 jurisdictions in attendance. Joff Wild, editor in chief of IAM and WTR, comments: “We are proud to have launched the Global IP Awards and to salute the achievements of what is a truly outstanding line-up of elite law and attorney firms. The work they do can often make the difference between clients’ business success and failure, so we believe it is only right that those who consistently make the right calls at the right time are recognised for their professionalism and expertise. That is what the Global IP Awards are all about.”
WTR would like to congratulate all the winners, who have set a high bar for their industry peers to meet.
