Our quest to identify the world’s leading corporate trademark counsel continues
Nominations have been flowing since World Trademark Review launched our annual search for the world’s best corporate trademark professionals at the end of September. There is still time to nominate an in-house team or individual before the process ends on December 8 2017.
Your suggestions will form the basis of two projects. Firstly, the nominations will help us to identify industry-leading individuals for inclusion in the second edition of WTR 300: The World’s Leading Corporate Trademark Professionals. The current edition, the first guide of its kind, highlights and profiles those corporate trademark professionals deemed outstanding by their peers. Your submissions are needed to ensure that the 2018 edition is equally insightful. Once the nomination process ends, the World Trademark Review editorial team will undertake further research, based on the suggestions we receive, before finalising the list of practitioners to be included in the next guide.
Secondly, your nominations will help us to determine the shortlist for the WTR Industry Awards 2018. For more than a decade, the WTR Industry Awards have recognised leading in-house trademark teams from across the world, highlighting those which add true value to their organisations and exemplify the qualities others aspire to. When the nominations deadline arrives, the World Trademark Review team will then conduct additional research before announcing the shortlist in April 2018. The winners will be declared at an exclusive champagne reception in May 2018.
So, if you know corporate trademark professionals – either teams or individuals – that deserve recognition for their exemplary work, please nominate them here.
All nominations are strictly confidential. Self-nominations, and nominations for individuals working in the same organisation as the nominator will be accepted, but inclusion in the WTR 300: The World’s Leading Corporate Trademark Professionals will be reserved for those individuals who have received at two or more nominations from outside their own organisation. Nominations for private practice professionals will not be accepted.
