OHIM meeting may signal long-awaited cut in fees

Rights holders may soon have a clearer idea as to when the promised cuts to the fees for filing, registering and renewing a Community trademark are likely to come into effect. There is hope that progress will be made at an extraordinary joint meeting of OHIM's Administrative Board and Budget Committee. However, it remains to be seen whether any agreement will go as far as many, including the president of OHIM, would like.
