Nestlé and Microsoft fight for stronger Indian border measures
IP rights holders in India cheered when the government adopted new regulations to tighten up border controls two years ago. The new laws were designed to make it easier to seize counterfeit goods entering the country by allowing IP owners to register their rights with Customs. But apparently the regulations are now failing. WTR looks at why, and what the government can do to address the problem.
