Live broadcast of re-trial hearing in ongoing BUYUDAREN opposition

In a case that has been ongoing for over five years, the Supreme People’s Court broadcasted live the re-trial hearing of the appeal of opposition against the mark BUYUDAREN, which considered for the first time whether the actual use of a trademark in association with illegal goods may be recognised as use of a trademark pursuant to the 2001 Trademark Law of the People’s Republic of China.
