Latin America's domain name dispute resolution policies: an overview

In 2000 Venezuela adopted the UDRP to resolve domain name disputes
under the '.ve' country-code top-level domain as a temporary measure: it intended
to adopt country-specific rules within five years. Four years on, Luis Henriquez
of De Sola Pate & Brown in Caracas assesses whether such measures are needed and reviews
the anti-cybersquatting procedures available in other countries in the region.
