‘Irish’ means ‘Irish’ in any language, according to EUIPO Board of Appeal

The Grand Board of Appeal of the EUIPO has held that the figurative mark LA IRLANDESA was invalid on the grounds that it was deceptive under Article 7(1)(g) of the Trademark Regulation and that it had been filed in bad faith under Article 59(1)(g).
