Independent objector gives initial nod to ‘controversial’ gTLD strings
Professor Alain Pellet, tasked with formally lodging concerns over highly objectionable gTLD applications, has published his comments on a number of ‘controversial’ strings. Acting as ICANN’s independent objector (IO), Pellet has given an initial OK to 10 strings, including ‘.adult’, ‘.porn’ ‘.sex’ and ‘.wtf’.
