Drafting valid trademark coexistence agreements for Europe
As the EU trademark system develops, more trademark coexistence or
delimitation agreements are being drafted to try and remedy conflicts between
similar or identical marks within Europe. To be valid, these agreements must
strike the right balance between the interests and rights of the mark owners,
and the requirements of EU competition law. Caroline Casalonga of Bureau DA
