ACTA refuses to go away as next steps are debated in Seoul
Despite its recent abandonment by the European Union, the Anti-counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) remains a going concern. Last month the controversial agreement was ratified by Japan: once another five jurisdictions have followed suit, the agreement will come into force. With the treaty still alive and kicking it remains a lively topic for debate, as evidenced by a session at the AIPPI conference in Seoul this week.
