On Thursday 12 December at 4.00 pm UK time (11.00 am EST), WTR will be hosting a free-to-access webinar exploring the trends set to affect the e-commerce and IP landscape in 2020, and identifying the key emerging online platforms which are set to disrupt the brand protection space.
To be forewarned is to be forearmed and, with that in mind, Red Points has gathered intelligence to help brand protection experts navigate the ever-changing online terrain in 2020. Drawing on this research – which is based on insights from more than 600 customers, as well as survey responses from over 100 IP experts – the webinar will:
- Reveal the key trends set to affect the e-commerce/IP landscape in 2020
- Identify the emerging online platforms expected to pose the biggest threat in the future according to IP professionals
- Explore the top five impacts of brand abuse on a business' bottom line.
Contributing to the discussion will be Jorij Abraham, general manager at The E-commerce Foundation. From 2013 to 2017 he was director of research and advice at the European Ecommerce Association and, in addition to his current role, he is currently e-commerce professor at the University of Applied Sciences, TIO. Joining Abraham will be Bruno Klumpp, platforms and policy manager at Red Points. Klumpp is an experienced policy manager with 10 years’ experience working in the internet industry for various global online platforms, including YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.
