Traditionally, like those of many other European countries, Denmark’s trademark providers were segmented, with trademark agents handling registration and prosecution of marks while law firms took on contentious matters. However, this dividing line is blurring as law firms set up in-house registration practices and agencies pick up a growing amount of litigation. This increased competition means that clients can now choose from an array of highly specialised and extremely skilled trademark teams. Law firms and agencies are ranked alongside each other in these tables to reflect this.
