Azlina Khalid graduated with an LLB from the University of Kent at Canterbury, United Kingdom, and is a non-practising member of the Malaysian Bar. Her career in intellectual property began when she started her legal practice in 1996 at a leading law firm's IP department. After spending almost eight years there, Ms Khalid joined Henry Goh as in-house legal counsel. She is currently senior legal counsel and heads the prosecution team for trademarks.

A registered trademark, patent and industrial design agent, Ms Khalid lends her know-how to all areas of IP protection at the firm, including pre-litigation counsel on trademark and copyright infringement, passing off, trademark prosecution and corporate due diligence. Her expertise also extends to securing trade description orders for enforcing trademark infringements and advising on a diverse range of IP-related agreements.

On two occasions, Ms Khalid was selected to represent Malaysia on an IP training course held in Japan and sponsored by the Japanese government. Upon her return to Malaysia, she shared her experiences and the technical knowledge which she gained.

Ms Khalid was recently nominated in AsiaLaw Leading Lawyers.
