Alexey Kratiuk

Alexey Kratiuk graduated in 1998 from Moscow State Aviation University as a radio-technique engineer, and then in 2002 from the Russian State Institute of Intellectual Property as a lawyer.

In 1998 Mr Kratiuk joined Gorodissky & Partners. He became a partner in 2010. Mr Kratiuk specialises in trademark issues and appellations of origin, especially in trademark proceedings and enforcement in Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Baltic states. He counsels clients on all aspects of trademark protection and the peculiarities of legal registration with the Russian and foreign patent and trademark offices, including opposition procedures, infringement and the specifics of appellation of origin of registration.

Mr Kratiuk regularly gives presentations at IP seminars and conferences and writes articles for professional magazines.

Mr Kratiuk is fluent in English.
