Managing Partner - Acemark Intellectual Property
Yenny Halim is an eminent patent and trademark attorney with more than 15 years’ hands-on experience with IP matters and practices in Indonesia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Tarumanegara University, an LLB from Krisnadwipayana University and an LLM from the University of Indonesia.
Ms Halim joined Acemark Intellectual Property in 1999 and became a partner in 2004. She is recognised by her clients and peers as someone who always puts her clients’ satisfaction first without compromising the quality of her work. This has contributed to Acemark’s consistent, prompt and trustworthy legal services for its clients. Ms Halim’s longstanding dedication to intellectual property is largely due to her sound understanding of clients’ perspectives from the outset. Equipped with considerable knowledge and experience in IP issues, she is well acquainted with the consultation, negotiation, prosecution and enforcement of various IP rights, including patents, trademarks, industrial designs, copyrights, trade secrets and domain names.
Ms Halim is experienced in representing national and multinational companies with regards to the prosecution and enforcement of their IP portfolios in Indonesia and overseas. She has also successfully represented clients tackling counterfeits and secured tough negotiation cases. As well as managing Acemark, she is an active member of several international occasions, including the International Trademark Association, the Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and the Asian Patent Attorneys Association.
Ms Halim strives for more effective and fruitful IP enforcement in Indonesia. She was named in the 2015 IP Stars list and ranked in the WTR 1000 in 2015 and 2016.
