Nina Moshinskaya is a Ukrainian patent and trademark attorney. She graduated from Kiev Polytechnic University as an electromechanical engineer, specialising in navigation systems, and then from the Central Institute of Intellectual Property (Moscow).
Until 1996 she worked in the Russian Patent Office and the Ukrainian Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) as an examiner, and then as deputy director of the Ukrainian PTO Research Centre. In 1994 Ms Moshinskaya was a member of the Ukrainian government delegation which signed the Trademark Law Treaty at the World Intellectual Property Organisation in Geneva. In 1996 she established the IP firm Nina N Moshinskaya. She participated in a training course at the European Patent Office, Munich in 1998. In April 2000 she joined Gorodissky & Partners as a resident partner and director.
Ms Moshinskaya specialises in patents and designs. She counsels clients on matters relating to trademarks, trademark infringement, licensing, unfair competition and copyright, and also litigates IP cases.
Ms Moshinskaya frequently attends and speaks at IP seminars and conferences, both in Ukraine and abroad. She is a member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, the Licensing Executives Society International and the Ukrainian Association of Patent Attorneys.
She is fluent in German and English.
