Ronit Barzik-Soffer has extensive experience in the IP field, specifically in trademarks and related law. She began working in the IP field (litigation, contracts and prosecution of patents, trademarks and designs) during her time as an articled clerk in the offices of Dr Shlomo Cohen & Co.

Ms Barzik-Soffer is a senior partner and is head of the trademark department of Reinhold Cohn Group. She is responsible for the trademark department’s team of lawyers and its administrative staff, and personally provides legal and strategic consultation and manages client portfolios in the field of trademarks and related rights in Israel and abroad.

Ms Barzik-Soffer represents the group at international trademark conferences and is a member of various committees for such organisations. In addition, she occasionally lectures in the field of trademarks in Israeli academic institutions and other forums.

Ms Barzik-Soffer has been recommended for several years in leading international guides, including the World Trademark Review 1000 guide and Expert Guides under the category of trademark law practitioners. The Chambers & Partners Global Guide 2009 also recommended her and quoted a client as saying that she is “incredibly proactive in learning about the businesses she’s working with”.

Ms Barzik-Soffer holds an LLB (1992) from Tel Aviv University and has been a licensed mediator since 2004.
