Asia-Pacific Team of the Year: Burberry Asia

It has been a challenging few years for luxury brands and 2016 was no different. In Burberry’s 2016/2017 annual report, Christopher Bailey – chief creative and chief executive officer – noted that slowing Chinese consumption has led to subdued results for many companies in the sector. In such an environment, brand protection becomes even more important, so it is gratifying to see the Burberry Asia team step up to fight infringement while positioning the company to exploit new opportunities.
