Bridging the commercial divide

On October 20 2016 World Trademark Review hosted its second annual Managing the Trademark Asset Lifecycle event in the heart of Wall Street, New York City. The event was often boisterous, with speakers and attendees alike frequently at odds on the most effective ways to capitalise on trademark assets

The conference played host to a varied mix of speakers from leading brands, including BlackBerry, MasterCard, Time, Penthouse, Kate Spade & Company, Voya Financial, Mars and Camuto Group. The delegates too hailed from diverse backgrounds: they included corporate counsel, trademark attorneys, consultants and brand valuation experts. It was a busy day of panel sessions; here we present some of our highlights.
