Vehicles & Transport Team of the Year: Jaguar Land Rover
Jaguar Land Rover’s recent reversal of fortunes is one of the great comeback stories of the automobile sector. Less than a decade ago, the British icon was on the verge of collapse, before being saved at the last minute by Indian company Tata, better known for its steel and tea production. Doubts were voiced at the time about the sustainability of ‘vintage’ brands; but against all odds, the company pulled back from the brink and in 2015 celebrated its strongest-ever year for sales. This new-found success is in large part due to a revitalisation of the Jaguar Land Rover brands, masterminded by the company’s trademark team.
