Expedia has acquired a number of brands over the past year, bringing names such as Travelocity and Wotif into the fold. While senior corporate counsel Michael R Graham acknowledges that these have kept the IP team “incredibly busy”, he says that the team has taken the complexities of the acquisition process in its stride, thanks to its combination of “expertise, mutual respect and eagerness to work together” – as well as an “unreasonable interest in all things IP!”
