Time running out to nominate world-class corporate trademark counsel for recognition
Our annual search for the world’s outstanding in-house trademark practitioners comes to an end soon. If you wish to nominate an outstanding trademark professional or team for recognition, please act now before the opportunity passes.
We will use your nominations as the basis for two projects. Firstly, they will help us to determine the shortlist for the WTR Industry Awards 2018. The WTR Industry Awards have been recognising the achievements of corporate trademark teams for over a decade. This year, the World Trademark Review editorial team is once again seeking your help to identify those teams which add real value to their brands across a range of regions and industry sectors. We will announce the shortlist for the awards in April 2018, before revealing the winners at an exclusive event at INTA’s annual conference in May 2018.
Your suggestions will also help us to decide which industry-leading individuals are included in the WTR 300: The World’s Leading Corporate Trademark Professionals. Launched last year, this guide shines a light on those corporate trademark practitioners whose work is held in the highest regard by their peers. Your submissions are needed to ensure that the 2018 edition will again give recognition to all those who most deserve it. After the nominations deadline, the World Trademark Review team will conduct additional research, based on the suggestions we receive, before confirming the list of professionals to be featured in the next guide.
If you know first-rate in-house trademark teams and individual practitioners, be sure to nominate them here before December 8.
All nominations are strictly confidential. Self-nominations, and nominations for individuals working in the same organisation as the nominator will be accepted, but inclusion in the WTR 300: The World’s Leading Corporate Trademark Professionals will be reserved for those individuals who have received at two or more nominations from outside their own organisation. Nominations for private practice professionals will not be accepted.
